Nicki Johnston

Nicki grew up in Kansas City but didn’t begin her yoga practice until she moved to Austin, TX in 2007. As a former college athlete and marathon runner, Nicki was familiar with pushing her body but not with the idea of honoring it. Her yoga practice did not just change her body, helping her to increase flexibility and heal injuries, but it has also changed her life. Nicki sees yoga as a moving meditation and uses her personal practice to clear her mind and focus on the present.
Nicki previously studied Ashtanga and now practices Vinyasa and Hatha Flow. She loves teaching all students, especially beginners. Nicki completed her 200-hour Teacher training at the White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara, CA and is certified in Pre-Natal Yoga through the Shambhava School of Yoga.
