If you come to my class, it is my hope to help create a safe space for you to have an experience in your body. So often, the rigors of daily life simply necessitate that we rush and disconnect from our body. It is my honor to spend time with others on the mat and perhaps facilitate an experience that allows one to more fully know oneself. Of course, the practice of poses, or asanas, also can reward us with meaningful progress, boosts in emotions, motivation and even our perceptions. No matter how small the progress, even small wins can make a significant difference in how we experience life and ourselves.
With a steady practice, many people find that they begin to crave yoga — and the opening, awareness and balancing it can help to create in our bodies and in our minds.
